We’re now looking for enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our Total Rewards team at BDR Thermea Group 

We’re looking to welcome you on board in January or February 2026. The internship duration can be tailored to fit your needs, spanning between 4 and 6 months.

What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Total Rewards Intern, you join the team of Head of Total Rewards, Jelderik, and Compensation & Benefits HR Business Partner, Jasper. The team is working on a range of exciting projects that shape how we attract, engage, and retain top talent. Your work will directly support our mission to become the Employer of Choice in our industry. 

Some of the areas you could explore include: 

  • Market Analysis: Benchmarking compensation packages and analyzing industry trends to ensure competitiveness. 

  • Employee Engagement: Designing and implementing rewards and recognition programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. 

  • Global Grading Structures: Contributing to the development of frameworks that ensure equity and consistency across our group. 

  • Global Rewards Philosophy: Supporting the rollout of strategies that boost employee engagement and alignment with our organizational goals. 

  • Benefits Optimization: Evaluating and recommending improvements to our benefit offerings, tailored to meet diverse workforce needs. 

  • Equity Initiatives: Assisting in the creation and execution of equity-focused compensation and benefits strategies. 

  • Compliance: Gaining exposure to legal requirements and best practices in the field. 

This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global environment while making meaningful contributions to our Total Rewards strategies. 

 

What You Bring 
  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field at a university in the Netherlands (WO or HBO-level). 

  • You are enthusiastic and motivated to tackle new challenges. 

  • You have a keen eye for detail, a critical mindset, and an organized approach. 

  • You are confident to work in an international environment in which the working language is English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus, but not a must. 

 

What We Offer
 
  • A full-time (40 hrs per week) internship for 4 to 6 months. 

  • A competitive internship allowance of €500-550 per month (based on 40 hours per week). 

  • A company laptop to support your work. 

  • The flexibility to work in a hybrid setup after a successful onboarding.
