About the Role

Focusing on Global HNW Strategy, PMO & Governance and New Markets Expansion
Drives Global HNW strategic development and planning, cross-market governance, performance optimization, and international market expansion across Hong Kong, Singapore, and emerging markets.
Serves as the central Program Management Office (PMO) lead to drive global alignment and govern multi-market strategic priorities with senior management stakeholder management.
This role contributes to the delivery of customer outcomes that are reliable, thoughtful, and create meaningful impact for customers and society. The role holder is expected to embed a customer first mindset in all decisions and actions by developing a clear understanding of customer needs, taking end to end ownership to resolve issues, and working collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance the customer journey—both directly and indirectly.

Roles and Responsibilities:

HNW Strategic Development, Planning & Benchmarking

·         Lead global HNW strategy and execute strategic plans, set regional KPIs, manage portfolio health, and deliver regular competitive benchmarking studies to identify high-priority market opportunities.

PMO & Cross-Functional Governance

·         Run the central Program Management Office (PMO) to track strategic milestones and drive cross-functional delivery, establishing and facilitating SteerCo and ExCo structures across group, regional, and local leadership and delivery teams in HK, SG, and other markets.

Cross-Border Referral Model and Execution

·         Lead the feasibility study, development and execution of the cross-border Referral Model and launch across markets with distributions, legal and compliance teams to ensure robust quality control and governance.

New Market Expansion and Licensing Initiatives

·         Manage end-to-end project workstreams for new international market entry and local entity/license setups, including feasibility assessments, scope definition, and operational readiness.

Incentives and Performance Management

·         Partner with Finance and Actuarial team on performance management initiatives to optimize capital efficiency, product margins, and sales incentive frameworks while aligning governance across markets.

Support for Regulatory Alignment

Coordinate regulatory alignment with management presentations or reporting across multi-jurisdictional regulators.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy or a related discipline; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

• Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience in strategy, business planning, transformation, programme management or HNW business.

• Strong track record in translating strategy into actionable roadmaps, KPIs and governance routines, and in managing complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple markets.

• Hands-on experience in project governance, including milestone tracking, risk and dependency management, preparation of SteerCo or ExCo materials, and timely escalation of issues.

• Good understanding of the HNW or UHNW customer segment, cross-border business models, distribution ecosystems and relevant market trends.

• Experience supporting cross-border referral models, new-market feasibility assessments, market entry, entity setup or licensing initiatives is preferred.

• Commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret business performance, product margins, capital considerations and incentive frameworks.

• Sound understanding of legal, risk, compliance and regulatory considerations relevant to multi-jurisdictional financial services initiatives.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management capabilities, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines.
• Effective written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior management, regional and local teams, external advisers and business partners
