Saviynt is seeking an experienced, strategic, and transformative Global Head of Procurement to build and scale a high-performance procurement and travel function within the SaaS industry. This leadership role will own the end-to-end procurement process, global sourcing strategy, and vendor management, with a strong focus on software solutions, IT procurement, supply chain optimization, cost efficiency, and governance.

This role is structured as a Head-of function, open to a Senior Director or Vice President level depending on the depth of experience and scope of leadership.

The Global Head of Procurement will play a key role in shaping Saviynt’s global procurement strategy, modernizing our procurement tech stack (including tools such as Tipalti and NetSuite), and completely reimagining our global travel and expense ecosystem to support a rapidly scaling workforce. This position partners cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Operations, Legal, Security, and executive leadership to align procurement with business goals and drive operational excellence.


What will you be doing

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of global procurement strategies tailored for a high-growth SaaS environment, ensuring cost-effectiveness, risk management, and alignment with Saviynt’s growth objectives across software, IT tools, professional services, and business-critical categories.
  • Global Procurement Leadership: Build and execute a global procurement operating model across geographies, ensuring consistent sourcing practices, governance, supplier standards, and commercial outcomes while accounting for regional requirements and market dynamics.
  • AI-First Procurement: Apply an AI-first mindset to procurement and vendor-risk frameworks to ensure global compliance, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Vendor & Software Management: Manage and optimize strategic relationships with key suppliers and software vendors. Lead supplier evaluation, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, renewals, and vendor performance management.
  • Software Implementation & Integration: Oversee the implementation and optimization of procurement software solutions and their seamless integration with existing systems (such as NetSuite and Tipalti).
  • Global T&E Transformation: Lead the end-to-end transformation of the Travel & Expense (T&E) function, including global policy governance, corporate card programs, and software solutions to increase transparency.
  • End-to-End Procurement Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete procurement lifecycle from requisition approval and sourcing through vendor selection, contract negotiation, purchasing, implementation, renewals, and ongoing supplier management.
  • Process Optimization & Governance: Establish and refine global procurement policies, controls, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, utilizing automation where possible to drive efficiency, compliance, and transparency.
  • Cost Control & Financial Partnership: Partner with Finance and the executive team to create and manage procurement budgets, track spend and savings, translate business strategy into operational savings, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities, SaaS contracts, software licensing, and supplier engagements comply with legal, financial, regulatory, and internal standards while mitigating contractual risks.
  • Performance Reporting & Analytics: Develop procurement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to evaluate strategy effectiveness, monitor supplier performance, track cycle times, and guide data-driven business decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, Operations, Legal, Security, and business leaders to support scalable growth and align procurement initiatives with enterprise goals.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certifications (such as CPM or CPSM) is a plus.
  • Experience: 12+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience (commensurate with Senior Director or Vice President tracks), including at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within SaaS or technology companies.
  • Global Sourcing Expertise: Proven track record of managing global procurement strategy, sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and spend across multiple countries or regions.
  • SaaS & Scaling Expertise: Demonstrated success driving organizations toward IPO and/or SOX readiness in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of procurement technology and spend-management systems, including experience with platforms such as Tipalti and NetSuite.
  • Global Travel Management: Extensive experience implementing and managing global Travel & Expense programs and corporate card ecosystem transformations.
  • Executive Influence & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with a proven history of aligning cross-functional leaders and executives.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience building, leading, and mentoring globally-distributed teams with high engagement and low attrition.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex procurement data, negotiate favorable commercial terms, and drive process improvements using data-driven insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail across contract management, software licensing, compliance, supplier risk, and commercial terms.
