As the Global Head of Platform, you will have overall responsibility for identifying and advancing future platforms —spanning software, robotics, and infrastructure —that will accelerate innovation within BEUMER.

Accelerate innovation through platform thinking
As our new Global Head of Platform, you will report to the CTO of BEUMER Group and lead a global Platform department in Denmark and Germany. You'll be based in Aarhus, Denmark, where you will drive the development and expansion of this newly established department.

It is a highly visible and strategic role, and you will play a key part in accelerating innovation through platform thinking, primarily within the software domain. You will be responsible for defining and executing a long-term platform strategy, ensuring that BEUMER leverages scalable, modular, and cutting-edge technologies across its products and solutions.

Currently, the department consists of a well-established software platform team, but the long-term ambition is to expand into key areas such as IoT, AI, mobile robotics, and vision systems.

As the Global Head of Platform, you key responsibilities will be to:

• Develop and drive the platform strategy
• Manage the platform portfolio
• Lead and grow the department
• Ensure platform adoption and effective utilization across BEUMER’s product portfolio
• Drive technology innovation
• Oversee partnerships and third-party collaborations

Your profile
The ideal candidate has a strong background in leadership and software development, combined with a passion for innovation and a can-do attitude at their core. You are proactive, innovative, and thrive in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and competing agendas. You embrace a "platform as a product" mindset. Moreover, you contribute with the following qualifications:

• Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and manage technology teams to achieve high performance.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, capable of developing and implementing effective platform strategies.
• Expertise in managing innovation processes, with a track record of successfully bringing new technologies and platforms to market.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
