Your Role in Our Story:
In essence, your role involves:
- Strategize and collaborate with corporate, authorities, and ACT colleagues to identify, create and deliver a high impact NBS program globally, focusing on ARR and Mangrove programs
- Identify and design each aspect of the decarbonization program supported by solid experience in agriculture and forestry-based carbon programs
- Hire and coordinate regional managers to ensure the successful implementation of NBS projects
- Lead and manage NBS projects from conception to completion, including project development and issuance
- Collaborate with various internal departments to integrate NBS strategies into our broader organizational goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including governmental agencies, NGOs, and community groups
- Monitor and report on the progress of NBS projects, ensuring alignment with environmental and sustainability goals
Your Expertise, Our Shared Success:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Previous experience as a Manager/Director of project development in NBS
- 10+ years of relevant experience in managing and developing environmental projects
- Strong Track record in developing and commercializing programs
- Experience in legal structuring of projects, including lands rights
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage regional managers and cross-functional teams
- Expertise in contracting and working with third-party vendors
- Passion for working in a growing and maturing organization
