Global Head of Cross-product Operations, Managing Director

Who are we looking for

The Global Head of Cross-product Operations within Markets Operations is responsible for activities and shared services supporting State Street Markets and Global Treasury businesses. The role partners across business lines, product-aligned Markets Operations teams, Global Delivery, Technology, and Corporate functions to deliver scalable operational services that support business growth, risk management, and strategic priorities.

The role oversees key product-agnostic functions including

• Regulatory Reporting - Leads the global regulatory reporting function, ensuring accurate, timely, and complete trade and transaction reporting across jurisdictions and products. Drives regulatory compliance, control enhancement, and reporting transformation through process optimization and technology enablement.

• Collateral Management - Oversees the global collateral management function, including margin processing, dispute management, collateral settlements, and reconciliations across financing and derivatives products. Ensures effective counterparty risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence through robust controls and process efficiency.

• Static Data / DBM- Provides strategic oversight of client and counterparty reference data, account setup, settlement instructions (SSI), and data governance across Markets Operations. Ensures data integrity, operational scalability, and seamless support for trade processing, settlement, and regulatory obligations.

Driving operational excellence, consistency, scalability, and strong risk and control practices across Markets Operations.

The Global Head of Cross-product Operations will lead teams across India, other global hubs, and co-trading locations, and will be a member of the Markets Operations Management Group, reporting directly to the Global Head of Markets & Treasury Operations and Client Onboarding.

What will you be responsible for

As the Global Head of Cross-product Operations, you will be responsible for delivering seamless, efficient, and scalable post-trade operational support across Regulatory Reporting, Collateral Management, and Static Data for State Street Markets and Global Treasury businesses.

The role is accountable for setting the strategic direction for Cross-product Operations and ensuring the organization continues to evolve through operational excellence, process optimization, technology enablement, automation, and strong risk management. The successful candidate will lead global teams across locations, drive consistency and scalability across shared services, and ensure the operating model remains aligned to business growth, regulatory requirements, and client needs.

• Lead and oversee the Regulatory Reporting, Collateral Management, and Static Data functions across Markets Operations.
• Drive operational excellence through standardization, process simplification, continuous improvement, and adoption of best practices across cross-product functions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.
• Foster a high-performing culture by developing talent, promoting accountability, and empowering teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Define and execute a technology and automation roadmap that enhances scalability, improves efficiency, reduces manual intervention, and supports future business growth.
• Partner with State Street Markets, Global Treasury, and Operations leadership to understand business strategy, growth opportunities, and client requirements, ensuring operating models effectively support strategic priorities and business objectives.
• Collaborate with Global Delivery, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and other Corporate functions to proactively resolve issues, drive organizational effectiveness, and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Establish and maintain a robust risk and control framework, ensuring effective risk identification, mitigation, operational resilience, business continuity, and compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational performance through meaningful KPIs, KRIs, governance forums, and management reporting to drive informed decision-making and accountability.
• Champion a culture of risk excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• 18+ years of leadership experience in capital markets, operations, risk management, finance, or a related discipline.
• Deep expertise in capital markets products, post-trade operations, operational risk, regulatory reporting, and related operating models.
• Demonstrated success leading large global teams and delivering operational excellence in complex financial services environments.
• Proven track record of strengthening risk and control environments and managing regulatory and operational risk.
• Experience leading transformation initiatives, including process optimization, automation, and technology modernization.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across business, operations, technology, and corporate functions.
• Strategic thinker with a proven change management mindset and experience driving large-scale initiatives.
• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree and/or relevant professional qualifications preferred.
