About the Role
The Global Head of Analytical Editorial Operations sets the global strategy for how LexisNexis' secondary content portfolio is developed, maintained, and activated as a competitive asset, accountable for its authority, currency, structure, and demonstrated value in customer workflows and AI-generated answers, and for the operating model that sustains it.
Secondary content is a key differentiator in the legal market, offering expert analysis, commentary, and guidance that becomes the basis on which customers judge whether an answer can be trusted and acted on. This role is accountable for making that differentiation real and measurable in the products customers use.
You will be accountable for galvanizing a global team under a common growth and operating north star, and ultimately drive improvements in operational efficiency, revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and answer-set quality in Protégé.
The role will set the vision and operating model for GenAI-enabled Analytical content, including the Agentic Content Platform (ACP) and GenAI-augmented content updating. The incumbent will ensure these capabilities are adopted responsibly and at scale to keep content current, structured, trusted, and increasingly valuable in customer workflows.
You will also play an integral role in driving employee engagement and enabling high performance across the organization. The incumbent innovates to globalize tools, systems, and processes; sets organizational priorities; drives automation; and is responsible for implementing global policies, metrics, and strategies across Analytical Editorial Operations.
Incumbent has full responsibility for management of Editorial and Operations teams aligned with Analytical (secondary) content, with emphasis on operational efficiency, high quality editorial judgment, and promotion of organizational values and culture.
The incumbent will partner with Segments, Product, Technology, and relevant commercial stakeholders to create new global Analytical content opportunities; improve the quality, relevance, and completeness of answer sets in Protégé, and ensure delivery of the enhancements, product features, and functions each market requires.
Role may be based anywhere in Asia and Pacific (Australia, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand,) North America (US and Canada), or the UK.
The Global Head of Analytical Editorial Operations reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Editorial Operations.
Responsibilities
Set the global strategy, operating roadmap, and priorities for Analytical Editorial Operations, ensuring consistent execution across a 150-person organization spanning Asia, North America, Pacific, and the UK
Partner with Segments, Product, GTO, Data Science, Product Operations, and commercial leaders to improve the creation, delivery, and activation of global Analytical products
Lead the global adoption and scaling of GenAI-enabled Analytical content capabilities, including the Agentic Content Platform, ACE, and GenAI-augmented content updating
Transform Analytical content workflows to improve content currency, structure, discoverability, and operational efficiency while maintaining rigorous editorial quality and customer trust
Prioritize content and workflow investments that improve the quality, relevance, completeness, and trustworthiness of answer sets in Protégé
Own author and expert relationships for the Analytical portfolio, including recruitment and retention in partnership with Commercial, and the editorial standards that sustain external authority
Establish global standards, governance, performance measures, and appropriate human-in-the-loop controls for GenAI-enabled editorial workflows, including quality assurance, content risk management, and escalation mechanisms
Use customer feedback, editorial outcomes, usage data, and operational metrics to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement in content quality, customer experience, and operating performance
Provide strategic insight, clear performance reporting, and recommendations on content systems, operating models, and global best practices to the SVP, Global Editorial Operations
Lead global planning, resource allocation, and financial management for the Analytical organization, including budget management, cost projections, and investment priorities
Build a high-performing, future-ready global workforce through talent development, reskilling, recruitment, change leadership, and global adoption of proven tools, processes, and best practices
Set and execute the global strategy and operating roadmap for GenAI-enabled Analytical content, including the Agentic Content Platform, ACE, and GenAI-augmented content updating
Requirements
At least 10 years’ experience leading a global operation at scale, including accountability for delivery, quality, and financial performance
Experience supporting and interacting with diverse and high-level P&L stakeholders
Experience managing budgets
Experience leading through organizational transformation
Strong process, engineering and systems orientation
Experience operating global delivery models and managing vendor partnerships at scale
Demonstrated experience leading AI, GenAI, automation, or other technology-enabled business transformation initiatives from strategy through scaled operational adoption
Experience partnering with Product, Technology, Data Science, commercial, and operational teams to deliver customer-facing AI or digital-product outcomes
Experience applying data, customer feedback, and quality measures to improve content, search, retrieval, or AI-generated answer experiences
Legal-content, secondary-content, publishing, or information-services experience strongly preferred
BA/BS + JD, MBA, other advanced degree or equivalent experience required
Commercial fluency to make the case for content investments in revenue, retention, and product performance terms with Segments, Product, and Finance leadership
Collaborative management style with ability to lead global cross-functional, team-based, deadline-intensive strategic initiatives and delivery
Ability to build empirical cases linking content quality and coverage to product and customer outcomes, using retrieval performance, usage behavior, and customer research
Excellent organization/project planning, time management, change management across multiple functional groups and departments, and delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various costs, size and complexity
Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex issues; prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions, identifying risks/impacts and to facilitate management decision making
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience including senior and executive management, customers, etc., including presenting information in a concise and effective manner to various departments
