Royal Canin DT TLT Team is the Digital Technology partner for R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions. The team defines and executes digital strategies to enable business transformation through data, technology and digital capabilities.
As a member of this team, the role supports the execution and delivery of the R&D Data-Driven Strategy, with a focus on coordinating digital products, data capabilities and adoption activities that enable R&D transformation.
The role works closely with R&D functional teams, Data & Analytics, Architecture, Integration, Security, GDO and external partners to translate business priorities into deployable solutions and ensure successful delivery.

Knowledge / Experience:
- Experience in delivering Digital projects
- Digital Technology experience (platforms, products, architecture, integration, data & analytics) and knowledge of various Digital product lifecycle (pilot/mvp, develop, deploy, support)
- Basic Functional knowledge in R&D, with internal MARS and external perspectives.
Design Thinking, User Centricity, Agile & Scrum and Waterfall methodologies knowledge
Key areas of responsibility
Digital delivery and execution:
Support the execution of the R&D Data-Driven Strategy by translating strategic priorities into actionable project plans, delivery roadmaps and implementation activities. Coordinate the delivery of digital and data capabilities that enable R&D transformation.
Product delivery coordination:
Coordinate delivery activities across R&D business teams, Data & Analytics, Product Teams, Integration, Security, Architecture and external delivery partners. Track milestones, dependencies, risks and issues, and provide clear visibility to senior DT leadership.
Digital product lifecycle support:
Support the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products, from business needs clarification and pilot activities through deployment, adoption and transition to support organizations. Contribute to continuous improvement and lifecycle management of existing capabilities.
Portfolio and governance support:
Support portfolio governance, budget tracking, vendor coordination and project reporting. Provide visibility on progress, risks, dependencies and value realization with support from the DT Portfolio Management organization.
Business engagement and adoption:
Partner with R&D process owners, functional experts and users to understand business needs, gather requirements and support successful adoption. Contribute to change management and communication activities required for deployment.
Technology and architecture contribution:
Contribute to technology evaluations and solution discussions in partnership with Solution Architecture, Security, Data & Analytics and Petcare Technology teams. Ensure delivery remains aligned with established standards, roadmaps and governance.
Continuous improvement and innovation support:
Stay informed on emerging digital, data and AI capabilities relevant to R&D. Support test-and-learn activities and innovation pilots under the guidance of senior DT leadership.

• Data & Analytics teams providing analytics platforms, data capabilities and solutions

• MGS DT and Corporate R&D teams delivering central capabilities
• Mars Petcare teams building the Petcare ecosystem and interoperability across divisions
The role contributes to running and growing R&D functional capabilities by coordinating across People, Process, Technology and Data, and by establishing strong collaborative ways of working.

Skills Required
