Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Global Early Talent Program in Finance participant, you will get hands-on from day one. The skilled professionals you partner with, the complex projects you tackle, and the global scale of our business will give the experience you need to build a world-class career in finance.
The program starts 1.10.2026 and is made up of three assignments in different roles:
One nine-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business.
One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.
One nine-month assignment back to the home country/home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function. During the program we will take the participants on a leadership development journey. The last rotation will also be the time where the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program.
Depending on the assignment you will be in, most common responsibility can include tasks within Operational (Accounting and Reporting) and Project Controlling and Finance:
Monthly project controlling and reporting activities
Performance and profitability analysis by Business Line
Financial reports for the Management Team
Implementation of dashboards and verification of profitability by product line and location
Cost analysis of products and revision of project margins
Coordination of information with different stakeholders
We support and inspire you to step out of your comfort zone to develop your leadership and management skills as well as your communication skills.
In the first assignment you will be working within the Service business project controlling team in Finland, Helsinki (Vuosaari) as a project controller. Please note that this position requires weekly presence at Vuosaari office.

Qualifications for the Role
You are a recent graduate in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
You may have professional experience in the finance function
Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
You are a good communicator, both orally and in writing
Familiar working with Excel and like to analyze
Knowledge of Power BI reporting
You are curious, resilient and open to new ideas
