Role Description
Equities Operations spans multiple business units within the Corporate Investment Bank, including: Global Clearing, Equities Derivatives Group, Cash Equities, Prime Cash & Synthetic, and Stock Borrow Loan.
The Global Equities Operations Transformation team manages the implementation of projects from industry-driven change, regulatory rules, and business initiatives globally.
In this role, team members will interface daily with counterparts in Equities Business, Technology, and Operations.
Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of projects for Global Equities Operations, including scope definition, planning, execution, delivery and controls.
  • Provide leadership, direction and focus for business functions and project resources
  • Maintain a robust and auditable governance process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of overall project
  • Proactively communicate global and local business requirements/priorities to key stakeholders; solicit feedback and obtain sign-off on project documentation.
  • Regularly present project updates, risks, and issues to a diverse group of senior management
  • Leverage the latest digital tools and technologies to support development of solutions in collaboration with our Innovation team
  • Facilitate the implementation of new functionalities through training sessions, demos, and the development of training material.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Project management experience or extensive experience in equities operations is required.
  • Markets or other related financial services experience preferred; experience in operations and knowledge of industry regulations is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including strong emotional intelligence to partner effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and perform in a flexible work environment
  • Fluency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and SharePoint.
  • Deep skills with regards to creation of Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, and Test Plans.
  • Strong public speaking and experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
  • Experience with digital solutions tools such as Alteryx, UiPath or Tableau is a plus
  • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups is a plus
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals
