Sitting at the intersection of marketing, commercial strategy, and customer outcomes, this highly visible leader develops and drives integrated go-to-market strategies across strategic priorities including data centers, cybersecurity, decarbonization and other emerging growth opportunities.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Go-to-Market Strategy & Commercial Growth

  • Own the development and deployment of integrated go-to-market strategies for GE Vernova's highest-priority emerging markets, specifically data center, cybersecurity, and decarbonization.
  • Apply deep market and functional expertise to advise business leaders on emerging opportunities and customer priorities, and to develop go-to-market strategies for emerging technologies, new business ventures, and evolving commercial models where established customer journeys or market playbooks may not yet exist.
  • Translate complex market dynamics, customer challenges, company priorities, and technology capabilities into differentiated positioning, value propositions, audience strategies, customer engagement programs, and market activations.
  • Identify and engage in opportunities where capabilities across multiple GE Vernova businesses can be brought together to create differentiated enterprise-wide solutions, and stronger customer value propositions.
  • Partner with senior business and commercial leaders to define, track and own KPIs around strategic plans in response to emerging market opportunities, customer needs, new technologies, and competitive dynamics.

Enterprise Campaign & External Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead the strategic orchestration of enterprise-wide campaigns that bring together multiple GE Vernova businesses around shared markets, customers, and commercial opportunities.
  • Operationalize a scalable framework for GE Vernova-wide campaign activation, establishing common objectives, positioning, audiences, activation strategies, operating rhythms, and measures of success.
  • Align individual business priorities and offerings within a cohesive enterprise narrative while maintaining the differentiation required to support specific commercial objectives.
  • Mobilize cross-functional and cross-business stakeholders without direct authority to deliver coordinated, high-impact market activations.
  • Establish scalable models that enable GE Vernova to respond with greater speed, consistency, and impact as new enterprise priorities emerge.
  • Leverage market intelligence, customer insights, campaign and engagement data, and cross-business relationships to prioritize the initiatives with the greatest enterprise and commercial impact.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders regarding market positioning and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with executive customers, policymakers, regulators, industry organizations, and strategic partners to develop high-profile collaborative initiatives that advance GE Vernova's market influence and business-critical initiatives.
  • Establish clear success measures and use performance insights to continuously optimize strategy, investment, messaging, and activation.

Cross-business Executive Influence and Organizational Capability

  • Serve as a strategic campaign advisor to senior business, commercial, and functional leaders on emerging markets, customer priorities, enterprise positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Influence strategic decisions across organizational boundaries and drive alignment among stakeholders with different business objectives and priorities.
  • Navigate complex and highly visible stakeholder environments while maintaining an enterprise-first perspective.
  • Build organizational capability by developing and mentoring talent and creating opportunities for team members to lead increasingly complex, strategic, and visible initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how enterprise marketing strategies are developed and activated, eliminating duplication and increasing organizational speed and effectiveness.

LEADERSHIP CHARACTERISTICS

  • Enterprise Mindset: Demonstrated ability to operate beyond individual business boundaries, connect capabilities across the company, and prioritize opportunities based on what creates the greatest value for GE Vernova.
  • Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Ability to connect market dynamics, customer priorities, technology capabilities, and marketing strategy to commercial outcomes and long-term growth.

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data and market insights into clear, compelling narratives
