General Information
For this particular position, you will be hired within the Global IS Automation organization in Poland (as the initial assignment).
ABB’s Automation business area enables customers to operate some of the world’s largest and most complex industrial infrastructures, helping them outrun – leaner and cleaner. We offer a broad range of automation, electrification and digital solutions and services for process, hybrid and maritime industries, including industry-specific integrated control and software, machine automation technologies, as well as measurement and analytics solutions.
You will be reporting to the IS Manager- Low Code Solutions.
The program is made up of three assignments in different roles:
1) One nine-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business.
2) One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.
3) One nine-month assignment back to the home country/home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function.
During the program we will take the participants on a leadership competency development journey. The last rotation will also be the time where the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program. All program trainings are meant to build the foundations of your future career evolution.
Your responsibilities:
Depending on the assignment role you will be in, most common responsibility can include tasks within IS service and project delivery.
At this first assignment we foresee:
- Engagement with Low Code technologies, mainly Power Platform.
- Working with business stakeholders to gather and clarify their needs, and define scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Translating business needs into clear, testable requirements (user stories/use cases and acceptance criteria), and keeping them traceable.
- Documenting and analyzing processes (AS‑IS / TO‑BE) and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Partnering with the Power Platform team to shape the functional solution (data, security, integrations), including responsible use of AI/Copilot capabilities.
- Supporting testing and adoption (test scenarios/UAT support, user documentation, demos, feedback handling).

Your background:
- You are a recent graduate (preferably Master’s level) in Information Technology or Information Systems
- You are interested in business analysis and process improvement; any first experience from internships or university projects is a plus.
- You are comfortable working with data and structured information (e.g., Excel); basic SQL/data modeling knowledge is a plus.
- You are interested in low-code solutions (Microsoft Power Platform) and motivated to learn how apps and automations support business processes.
- You are curious about AI/ Copilot capabilities and committed to responsible use (security, privacy, governance).
- You communicate confidently in English (written and spoken) and work well with stakeholders.
- You are proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative, and you enjoy working in international teams.
