How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW at Air Liquide?
Part of a team of 3 people, your main responsibility consists in consolidating, analyzing and reporting the E&C financial results and for providing E&C Management and the Group with timely and accurate analysis and information on business performance (Flash, Reforecasts, Targets).
You will be the privileged entry point for various geographic zones (America/India/MF) with transversal reporting of the operation control community. The objective is to be able to have a 360° view of E&C activities in the zone (order intake, project execution, load, resources, financials) and to be able anticipate any risk/opportunities of the centers’ operation that may impact its financial performances. The position is located in France (Charenton) to foster the exchange with a major E&C Center and towards the Head Office in Paris.
In addition to operation tasks, you will also be part of the ALign initiative, working on the replacement/rationalizing of our existing BPC and Power BI reporting by SAP Analytic Cloud together with a new centralized E&C SAP 4/HANA ERP.
Responsibilities & Tasks
During the month-end closing deeply analyze and assess the performance of various Regions/Centers
Detailed variance analysis and commenting for selective Controlling Areas (Workload, Headcount, Project Performance, Provision etc.)
Consolidate the financial results and prepare the Monthly Flash Comments / Operation Review Document
Manage the complete closing process of the E&C Group, including ownership for dedicated E&C Consolidation / Adjustment package (ECGCO)
Identify potential cost savings/efficiencies and implement respective measurements
Strongly contribute to the Financial Planning and Budget Process (Target- and Forecast-Planning), esp. with regard to Project and PEX performance measurement
Execute a highly automatized/programmed reporting towards Head Office via the Group consolidation tool IRIS
Act as key contact towards Head Office with regard to IRIS submission of all E&C Centers (both during closing and planning)
Develop the financial reporting (P+L and Project Controlling) of the future as part of the ALign initiative: update the current tools (SAP BPC) and processes, aiming at improving the efficiency, support in designing and implementing the new reporting solution via SAP Analytic Cloud (SAC)

Requirements
Completed studies in economics with a focus on finance or controlling, together with a strong technical / IT background
At least 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Operations Control or Controlling in an international industrial environment (preferably Engineering and Construction business)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi task for a diverse range of geographic area
Ability to work independently and organize/ manage complex interlinked closing and planning processes
Good communication skills and ability to dialog with management and colleagues of own and other disciplines
Interact in an international environment
Strong knowledge about Power BI, BPC/SAC, IRIS, combined with experience in programming (JAVA script) to support reporting automatization
Technical knowledge in IFRS, preferable with work experience in PoC-Accounting
Strong customer focus and excellent presentation skills
Very good command of spoken and written English
