The Global Process Owner (GPO) – Deductions Management is a strategic role responsible for defining and driving the global strategy for the end-to-end deductions management process across Mars. This role ensures standardized, efficient, and well-controlled processes for managing trade and non-trade deductions, enabling accurate resolution, improved cash flow, and enhanced financial visibility. You will work closely with Operations, Sales, and Mars Segments teams to optimize deductive performance and compliance worldwide.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Own and define the global strategy, governance, and process design for the end-to-end deductions management cycle, including deduction capture, validation, investigation, resolution, and recovery.
Establish and maintain global process standards, policies, and KPIs to ensure consistent and efficient deductions management across regions.
Lead the global transformation roadmap for deductions processes by identifying leading practices and digital solutions.
Drive the implementation and optimization of deductions technology platforms, including HighRadius and TPM (Trade Promotion Management) systems.
Ensure seamless integration between TPM, ERP, and deductions management tools to improve visibility and reconciliation of trade-related deductions.
Partner with Sales, Finance, Trade Promotions, and Customer teams to ensure accurate validation and resolution of deductions.
Identify automation and analytics opportunities to reduce invalid deductions, accelerate resolution cycles, and improve recovery rates.
Drive process standardization and governance across geographies while allowing minimal necessary local adjustments.
Monitor performance through global KPIs, dashboards, and reporting, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What are we looking for?
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Professional certification (CPA, CA) or Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Finance Operations, or Deductions Management in global FMCG organizations.
Previous or current experience as a Global Process Owner (GPO) would be nice to have.
Experience in Shared Services or BPO environments with global exposure.
Previous experience working in an FMCG/CPG environment would be an advantage
Deep expertise in the end-to-end deductions management cycle, including deduction creation, validation, investigation, settlement, and recovery.
Experience in Global Delivery Models and Business Process Outsourcing environments preferred.
Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and changing leadership skills.
Digital mindset with exposure to RPA, automation, analytics, and AI-driven receivables platforms.
Strong hands-on experience with HighRadius.
Experience with TPM systems and understanding of trade promotions and customer deductions.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and integrated finance systems.
Proven track record of leading global process improvements and transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical capabilities, financial controls mindset, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in English.
