Purpose Statement: The process engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves offering guidance on best practices and equipment, optimizing production for efficiency and quality, training various teams, and supporting ongoing production activities. They also ensure the manufacturability of new products while adhering to standards and lead new product introduction processes.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Is visible, recognized and influential in all Manufacturing Sites as a Subject Matter Expert, Technical Visionary for their engineering discipline, for their ability to resolve challenging technical issues; Actively participates in the industry / community to understand the direction of the industry.
- Serves as a technical and/or project team lead or consultant, providing technical guidance/ training and motivation for teams, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on large site/ regional/ global projects.
- Leads and owns continuous improvement with impact across regions associated with their engineering discipline and/or cross-discipline, project execution-focused efforts, as it applies to their role.
- Provides technical and/or team lead mentorship across multiple projects and sites.
- Provides Customer Service leadership by establishing positive and productive customer communications during technical/project discussions, demonstrating deep understanding and anticipation of customer needs (internal/ external customer), and supporting business development engagements and proposal creation.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
