Job DescriptionMain responsibilities:
–Act as the role model in Global Component Developer (GCD)’s key responsibility includes:
•Secure component development process end to end, involves component risk assessment, securing quality, in line with the brand identity and values.
•Ensure best options in terms of quality, price and lead time in alignment with assortment expectations.
•Identify the right suppliers in order to maintain a sustainable supplier base. Interpret global trends in new components with suitable suppliers.
•Update and follow sustainability trends and innovations
–Optimized the workflow of GCD and Tier 2 suppliers, in terms of material sourcing and component development.
–Taking lead to work with GCD team to build up seasonal material library together with Buying office Material Manager.
–Responsible for Stories Common Fabric (SCF) qlty.
–Involve in full material booking process to secure best options in terms of quality, price and lead time in alignment with assortment expectations.

–Business minded with strong negotiation skills and a vast understanding of pricing from a global perspective.
