We are seeking a skilled and proactive Global Compensation Specialist for a 12-month temporary position to support the development and execution of our global total rewards programs. We have offices in multiple locations around the globe. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to initiatives that ensure our compensation programs remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of global total rewards policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support or lead the development, administration, and communication of regional pay structures.
- Participate in the annual total rewards planning cycle.
- Contribute to the design, development, and administration of the global incentive plan, including coordinating payments of all incentive plans.
- Lead participation in salary surveys and conduct regular benchmarking to evaluate market competitiveness, making recommendations for improvements.
- Administer the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
- Ensure compliance of total rewards programs with local regulations.
- Create and analyze reports on various aspects of total rewards programs to support decision-making.
- Develop engaging communication materials to explain and promote total rewards offerings.
- Provide secondary support for global employee benefits and retirement programs.
- Collaborate on cross-functional HR projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience with global total rewards programs, including compensation, incentive, equity
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), or other compensation certification, considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with external and internal contacts
- Willing to research total rewards programs in new countries
- A collaborative team player who has the ability to work independently and is comfortable with change
- Expertise in Dayforce compensation module, benefits administration and Shareworks administration would be an asset
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel and experience with the G Suite
