Your role

  • Execute the global procurement strategy for the POS spend categories in line with the BCs (our Brand companies) needs underpinned by a robust roadmap to deliver against business ambitions. 

  • Ensure that business have access to the POS procurement resources and that these resources are deployed optimally. 
    Act as the key interface between business functions and procurement teams.


Your key missions

Strategy

  • Works in close collaboration with POS Cat Managers to implement procurement strategies and plans to maximize value in POS categories
  • Responsible for the strategic direction and management of BCs POS procurement activities incorporating the overall sourcing process in line with global strategy and sustainable procurement
  • Works with the procurement community to align POS procurement strategies with overall company goals and initiatives
  • Animates ecosystem stakeholders and impulse supplier relationships management 
  • Translates diversity and the S&R Global commitments into POS procurement category objectives and requirements
  • Is an active leader in the procurement transformation program: drives transformation workstream and business alignment, leads implementation of best practices, procurement tools and process. 

Operational

  • Leads procurement operations for all BCs and is part of the Procurement Leadership Team.
  • Responsible for a total spend of 20M EUR across all categories aforementioned
  • Ensures value maximization for POS procurement along 3 lenses: Buy Better (leverage Pernod Ricard's scale & professionalize procurement practices), Spend Better (harmonize policies, processes and manage demand tightly), Track Better (spend performance, compliance, sustainability and diversity)
  • Collaborates with BCs business teams to understand their development and spending needs and align procurement strategies accordingly: prioritize initiatives to maximize benefits & monitor category budgets to drive cost optimization.
  • Governance: ensures compliance with procurement policies and procedures against legislation and mitigation of risks
  • Manages and optimizes the procurement process for POS categories 
  • For localized spend: implements category sourcing strategies (business needs and supplier panel definition), leads commercial execution (negotiation, contractual and legals terms, regulatory compliance) and monitors supplier long-term in alignment with Global POS Cat Man
  • For global spend: supports Global Procurement on the discovery, market review process and the contract implementation 

Performance & team management 

  • Sets KPIs and targets to measure the POS procurement contribution to PR performance (cf indicators of success)
  • Builds a team of exceptionally skilled individuals, fostering dynamic career trajectories and a culture of excellence
  • Empowers team members and drives their upskilling journey
  • Drives efficiency and effectiveness in indirect spending management to increase ROI and optimize the supplier roster
  • Takes part in stakeholder's main governance meetings (1/Q) to anticipate needs and share supplier trends
  • Provides Management with reports as requested including but not limited to summarising key activities and issues, governance, S&R savings, and improvements achieved
