As the Global Business Process Specialist (GBPS) for Record to Report – General Accounting, you are part of the Global Business Process Management Organization in Roche Service & Solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible in the E2E process area Record to Report for the continuous global harmonization, standardization and automation of the General Accounting processes including the global deployments. You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders from Finance, Commercials, Supply Chain and IT, cross divisionally (Pharma and Diagnostics).
Your Opportunity

Representing the R2R General Accounting Business Process Management (BPM) organization in the ASPIRE project (SAP S4 HANA implementation), safeguard the global template and harmonized processes, further develop new processes for upcoming releases in close collaboration with the different streams within the project and other BPM networks.

Acting as a Business Process Specialist for General Accounting with a focus on the following activities:

Definition and governance of the global financial reporting dimensions (e.g. Functional areas, Profit centers) based on the internal and external financial reporting requirements

Governance of the system rules for the validation and determination of the above dimensions
-
Documentation, training and education to the finance community with reference to the above points
-
Support to the template deployment activities with reference to data mappings and gap analysis consolidation related activities (system extraction, validations, etc.) to govern changes to existing business processes and design new ones as well as supporting the ASPIRE project deployments across the EMEA region

Working closely together with the RSS Operation Centers to drive and support process improvement wherever possible.

Ensuring monitoring and optimization of business processes with regards to efficiency and effectiveness

Strive for cross-functional alignment to achieve End-To-End Process Harmonization

The position may involve a fair amount of travel (up to max. 25%).
Who you are
As a qualified expert, you:
-
Have a business degree or a financial education and 4-5 years of work experience in that area.
-
Bring International or global/corporate experience and proven track record of participating in global projects/initiatives (preferably transformational of nature) and cross functional teams.

Have a strong financial background and bring already system experience

Strong presentations skills as well as written and verbal communication skills in English
