Responsibilities

Connect People to Strategy

• Use talent levers to enable and advance the country’s strategic goals

• Translate the country's strategy into a comprehensive people strategy

• Ensure global consistency of people programs while maintaining local efficiency.

• Incorporate local relevance into people strategy and programs, guaranteeing adherence with local regulations

• Drive region/country People strategies and solutions to deliver business results

• Explore opportunities enabled by people within the region/country

• Anticipate trends and interpret their impact on business and people strategy

• Act as the conscience of the country leadership

• Champion change initiatives, organizational values, and culture

Take Action to Drive Impact

• Define specific initiatives to achieve the people strategy

• Prioritize high-value activities and streamline processes to reduce low-value tasks

• Influence decisions and actions outside the People business function

• Rapidly adjust your approach in response to new information or changing environments

Deliver Results

• Define clear success metrics aligned with strategic objectives

• Marshal resources to drive towards measurable results

Communicate

• Optimally communicate the people vision and the results of your initiatives

Primary Work Scope

• Connect all People functions to ensure effective design and delivery of People programs, focusing on speed and relevance

• Provide dotted line leadership to all People functions and proven line accountability for site/regional BPs

• Be the final People decision-maker

• Foster a sound sense of team cohesiveness and engagement within the People team

• Serve as the main point of contact for both People and business leaders in the country, addressing any critical issues that may arise.

• Understand business needs and channel feedback to the appropriate verticals

• Empower country-relevant delivery solutions while maintaining program integrity

• Drive alignment and consistency in the implementation of People programs across organizations

• Facilitate focus groups

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$93,500.00 - $211,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
