Position Summary & Scope

This role is key to Vantage's expansion strategy in the natural oils business globally, with a strong focus on APAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development while managing and growing existing customer relationships across international markets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities on international markets with a focus on APAC.

  • Manage existing customer relationships and expand business within the assigned territory.

  • Deliver against pre-set sales and profit targets, reporting regularly and adjusting priorities to ensure annual goals are met or exceeded.

  • Lead the full customer contracting process, from prospect acquisition through commercial negotiation to contract close and future repeat business.

  • Work closely with technical, business support and product management, and related stakeholder teams to optimize commercial processes.

  • Support the development of new business strategies by providing market insights on trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with Business Development teams across other regions and business areas to deliver coordinated and consistent customer experience.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts, provide regular pipeline visibility and ensure data integrity across CRM and reporting tools.

Education & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Chemistry, or a related field.

  • Fluent in English (required); Spanish proficiency highly desirable.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales and business development, ideally within commodity chemicals, ingredients, or adjacent industries in the personal care and food industry, with focus on vegetable oils.

  • Proven experience in account management and business development across international markets, with a focus on APAC.

  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ of the time, subject to business needs.

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders.

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is: $80.000 annually.  Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills and geographic location.
