The Role

The Global Benefits Manager is responsible for the strategic design, governance, administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of BeyondTrust's global benefits programs. This role partners with the VP, Total Rewards to develop a competitive and sustainable global benefits strategy that supports employee well-being, talent attraction, retention, and business objectives. The position leads a team of benefits professionals, manages external vendor relationships, and ensures the effective delivery of benefit programs across all countries in which BeyondTrust operates.

What You’ll Do

  • Executes on the global benefits strategy aligned with company and departmental objectives.
  • Leads the implementation, administration, and enhancement of new and existing benefit programs across the company.
  • Manages the planning and rollout of open enrollment including advising on recommended plan enhancements, implementation of new benefit carriers, employee communication and data auditing for all plans outside of US, Canada and UK.

  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with country-specific statutory benefits requirements and applicable regulations across all regions where BeyondTrust operates.
  • Analyzes benefits utilization, participation, and cost trends and provide recommendations for program enhancements.
  • Develops reporting and executive-level dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manages communication of benefit programs to employees and managers, resulting in high adoption, participation, and engagement rates.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with brokers, advisors, vendors, and other external partners to ensure they meet the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the VP of Total Rewards and benefit brokers to finalize new and updated contracts, agreements, summary plan descriptions, and plan documents.
  • Manages benefits-related policy creation, maintenance, enforcement, and education.
  • Partners with global vendors and brokers to resolve escalated claims and customer service issues.
  • Overall management and oversight of the company’s programs such as leave program, COBRA, etc. with the support of a 3rd party vendor for administration.
  • Manages company’s Wellness Program in collaboration with VP of Total Rewards and Culture Committee.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and manage a team of benefits professionals to include Benefits Administration, Leave Administration and Total Rewards Analyst.
  • Establishes team goals, performance expectations, and development plans.
  • Drives operational excellence through process improvements and automation.
  • Builds organizational capability through knowledge sharing and cross-training.
  • Assists in preparing and facilitating analysis and creating materials for executive leadership.
  • Strategically develop and deliver global benefits training and communication for candidates, current employees and leadership.
  • Leverages system and process automation to reduce manual input for benefits administration. Provide backup to the VP of Total Rewards.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 5-7 years of progressive benefits experience; or Associates’ degree with minimum 8+ years of progressive benefits experience.
  • 3+ years leading benefits teams.
  • Experience supporting multinational organizations.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of health benefits, retirement plans, leaves of absence, and applicable laws/regulations in applicable countries.
  • Strong technical skills and experience with HRIS systems (UKG Pro preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, the capability to exercise sound judgment and work well under pressure to effectively manage priorities and meet timelines and deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers in large group settings and 1-on-1 interactions.
  • Able to maintain confidential and private personnel data.
