Global Backup and Storage Engineer (m/f/d) with good English knowledge
Your tasks:

Management and maintenance of backup and storage solutions, both on-premise and in cloud environments

Designing, implementing and optimizing backup and recovery processes for reliable data integrity
-
Supporting and monitoring the backup of company data in hybrid and cloud infrastructures
-
Perform capacity planning, performance analysis and system optimization for storage systems
-
Contributing to the development and implementation of strategies for data backup, disaster recovery and business continuity
-
Integrate automation tools and processes to increase the efficiency of system administration
-
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all backup and storage requirements are met
-
Updating and maintaining documentation, policies and procedures
-
Collaborate to further expand cloud readiness within Dedalus
Your profile:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or other training (e.g. IT specialist / system integration) with experience in Veeam backup solutions, knowledge of storage technologies (PureStorage, NetApp) and cloud environments.

Know-how in the operation of modern IT environments

Willingness to tackle complex and challenging projects

Ability to work in a global team

Goal- and result-oriented action ("doer mentality")

Good command of English (written and oral)

Good knowledge of backup & recovery, especially with Veeam Backup & Replication

Knowledge of storage management (HPE, PureStorage, NetApp)

Knowledge of system administration: Windows & Linux (RHEL; Ubuntu)

Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, AZURE, GCP)

Basic knowledge: Scripting languages
