JOB DESCRIPTION
Product Leadership & Roadmap
- Own and articulate the strategic three-year B2B product roadmap for Dyson’s premium fixtures and systems portfolio, specifically driving the Airblade Wash+Dry (Tap) and Professional Lighting categories.
- Drive new product initiatives within these premium design-led categories, while providing strategic cross-category support to hair care, floor care, and environmental care expansion in B2B environments.
- Oversee lifecycle management and continuous improvement for these highly integrated architectural and technology products.
Product Operations & Readiness
- Lead and optimize demand/supply planning for premium and specialized components, ensuring global alignment of forecasts and specialty inventory in partnership with the supply chain.
- Oversee operational project management relating to complex, premium fixture product certifications (e.g., water, electrical, and building standards), regulatory documentation, and readiness for global launches.
- Establish and maintain all necessary certifications and documentation for building and architectural regulatory compliance across categories.
Benchmarking & Customer Insights
- Direct competitive benchmarking and in-depth market analysis within the premium specification, premium hospitality, and luxury commercial workspace sectors.
- Gather and interpret global market feedback and design insights from architects, mechanical/electrical (M&E) engineers, and interior designers, translating findings into strategic expansion opportunities.
Product Training & Sales Enablement
- Champion effective product training for market teams and specialized specification networks to build architectural and technical expertise, supporting adoption in premium builds.
- Oversee creation of resources—BIM (Building Information Modeling) objects, architectural product guides, technical integration documentation, and lighting design layout materials.
- Support market teams and major architectural accounts, providing expert guidance on integrated system features, design aesthetics, and technical installation differentiators.
Cross-functional & Leadership Accountabilities
- Collaborate across global functions—R&D, Design, Marketing, Specification Sales, Supply Chain, and Regulatory—to ensure all commercial, technical, and system integration requirements are met.
- Deliver regular business updates to senior leadership on premium category performance, design market trends, and expansion category operational progress.
