The Role

The Global Analytics Manager will perform, manage, and coordinate activities associated with data analysis leveraging IQVIA Connected Intelligence™ Real-World Data (RWD) and clinical data assets for multiple Research & Development projects. This position is an individual contributor role, working closely with our team of Therapeutic Analytic Leads and others to support development of clinical trial strategies. The Global Analytics Manager will inform quality decision making at the indication, program, and study level, with additional opportunities to impact automation and innovation goals.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the IQVIA Connected-intelligence data sets and resources to define and enhance clinical trial strategy, both pre- and post-award
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to align on requirements, capabilities, and delivery of data analytics
  • Drive the methodology and implementation of data analytics deliverables, including country evaluation and ranking, competitive landscape assessment, historical recruitment analysis, and patient density analytics
  • Generate patient insights using real-world data to support site targeting activities
  • Manage country-specific data assets through collaboration with local teams, promote innovation, and participate in ongoing training and knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate the collection of site outreach data to support development of the country/site strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, clinical research, or consulting in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • General knowledge of medical terminology, GCP, FDA regulations, and drug development processes
  • Experience working with global teams based across multiple geographies is preferred
  • Experience leveraging business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred
  • Experience working with large volumes of electronic data, such as medical claims, sales, prescriptions, electronic medical records/electronic health records, or similar would be a plus
  • Hands-on experience using object oriented and/or scripting languages (Python, R, PySpark, or Spark) and/or relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle SQL, or PostgreSQL) would be a plus

  • Proficiency using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Logical approach to problem solving and task prioritization
  • Ability to acquire new skills and evolve to new systems
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and ability to interact with dynamic, global teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective presentation skills
