Job SummaryThe Global Account Manager will be based in Zalaegerszeg and will report to the Director of Global Account Management.
The role is responsible for driving direct sales of Flex services to targeted accounts, managing customer relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Global Account Manager will act as the key point of contact for customers and provide management with insights to improve programs’ profitability and customer relationship.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage relationships with customers for post-awarded programs, overseeing contract renewals, changes, and maintenance
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing changes, to meet financial targets.
- Handle excess & obsolete claims and inventory reduction activities to achieve Auto Inventory Turn-Over targets.
- Lead operating profit enhancement activities and reviews; drive quote vs. actual introduction of commercial, operational, and material cost improvement actions
- Manage and monitor launch of new awarded programs, including financial gate reviews to meet quoted operating profit.
- Provide technical and administrative services information, demonstrations, and quotes.
- Work with Flex support teams to drive tactical plans and ensure optimal customer solutions
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales/account management experience
- Strong background in account management and sales within the European automotive industry.
- Fluent German and professional English skills
- Experience managing high-level stakeholders and working with multinational customers
- Demonstrated success in complex deal-making and project lifecycle management
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong negotiation and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; good learning capability
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Capability to understand and learn financials and company KPIs
