What you'll be doing?
As a GL. Accountant, you will perform a variety of duties as outlined below and work with the team to improve processes and internal controls. To accomplish this, you bring a thoughtful and consultative approach to the job.
Core Responsibilities:

• Cash application and reconciliation
• Month-end close General Ledger Journals 
• Payroll JEs and other as appropriate
• Manage credit card program 
• FA accounting and roll forwards
• Lease accounting 
• Non-revenue tax filings (B&O,etc.)
• GL Allocations
• Intercompany accounting
• Participate in month and year-end processes and reconciliations
• Participate in the financial and other audits
• Document processes and procedures as needed and where necessary
• Other duties as assigned

We want you to have:

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance
• Foundational GAAP knowledge
• 1-3 years minimum in a GL Accountant role
• Solid Google sheet/excel skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• A kind and collaborative attitude

It would be a bonus if you had:

• Experience working in a professional services environment
• Experience in a rapidly growing, diverse organization
• Intacct/Sage experience

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this contract position is $29.00/hr to $36.00/hr. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
