WiredPeople is seeking a qualified ArcGIS Mapping Expert to assist with developing comprehensive citation maps. The GIS Mapping Expert will work onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and need to be able to start as soon as possible.

WiredPeople is seeking a qualified ArcGIS Mapping Expert to assist with developing comprehensive citation maps. The GIS Mapping Expert will work onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and need to be able to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive citation mapping strategies to enhance research accuracy.
- Develop, analyze, and interpret geographic data to create accurate maps and spatial reports.
- Utilize GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online) to compile and manage geographic databases.
- Conduct spatial analysis to support decision-making in urban planning, environmental management, or infrastructure development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored GIS solutions.
- Maintain data integrity by performing quality control and updating GIS datasets regularly.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports for project deliverables.
- Assist in training users on GIS tools and best practices.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, or related field
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online.
- Strong understanding of spatial data analysis, cartography, and remote sensing
- Experience with GPS technology and data collection.
- Ability to develop, implement, and manage GIS projects and workflows
- Experience with web mapping platforms and GIS web services (e.g., ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online, MapServer).
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex spatial data accurately.
