Thales Services Numériques works on outsourcing operations for more than sixty customers. We support our customer’s system with the MRO activity, Our activity is based on the MRO, development of the IT to support applications, transformation of existing applications to the Cloud, Secure hybrid outsourcing or on premise infrastructure, and apply security audits on platforms and remediation’s plan.

Description

You will join an Agile team that includes all software-related roles (System Engineers, Developers, Integrators).

Required competencies:

  • Design and develop our LDT software solution;

  • Participate in the validation and global integration of the software you help develop;

  • Analyze anomalies and maintain previous versions of the software to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle;

  • Maintain and improve our development environment (Continuous Integration, DevOps practices);

  • Contribute to the software architecture based on existing product components;

  • Collaborate with other product teams within the Thales solutions ecosystem, working in a scaled Agile framework (SAFe).

Requested  experience:

You bring experience in the following areas:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent background, with initial experience in software development or completion of a relevant project.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools, such as Jenkins.

  • Solid knowledge of configuration management, especially with GIT.

  • Strong adaptability and ability to work effectively in a team setting.

  • Demonstrated rigor, with strong analytical and synthesis skills.

  • Capable of taking initiative and showing tenacity in achieving objectives.

  • Proficiency in Python (PyQGIS, arcpy ...), powershell, bash

  • Strong knowledges about QGIS (ArcGIS Pro too but less priority than QGIS)

  • Knowledges on GeoServer (knowledges on GeoNode could be a bonus)

  • Windows and Linux system skills

  • Able to do L1 / L2 / L3 support to users on GIS subjects

  • Knowledge on GIS architecture and GIS software deployment and customization (GeoServer, QGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro)

  • GIS licensing servers (flexnet)

  • GIS database management (PostGIS, SDE, SQL), FME or other ETL is a bonus

  • If possible, knowledges of Microsoft Azure or other cloud environment

Skills Required

  • Engineering degree or equivalent background
