Job DescriptionThe Ginner is in charge of their shift and must ensure all aspects of cotton ginning operations are managed in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
Responsibilities
- machine operation
- supervise a team of workers during day or night shift
- monitor production and conduct preventative maintenance
- ensure safe systems of work
Preferred skills
- Ginning experience desirable or experience in mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical roles
- Manage and lead safe work practices
- Supervision skills in a maintenance/production environment
- Mechanical, maintenance and/or electrical knowledge
- Computer literacy and ability to prepare and deliver reports
- Machine Operation
- Leadership abilities
