We are currently looking for a Gifting & Campaigns Assistant to join our Private Shopping team.
Our ambition is for Harrods Private Shopping to be the ultimate luxury shopping and lifestyle destination. We have ambitious growth plans which can only be achieved by delivering exceptional service to our most loyal clients.
The role of our Gifting & Campaigns Assistant will contribute to the fulfilment of all day-to day clientelling and marketing initiatives, as well as specific ad-hoc requests within our clientelling team in Private Shopping.
About the role
This role works very closely with the Private Shopping team to understand our top clients, their preferences and identify key opportunities to engage with them. You will also support the Gifting & Campaigns Manager in the execution of all client touch points including gifting campaigns, experiences and communications.
In addition to this, you will also:
- Support the Gifting & Campaigns Manager with the operations and communications of all activations dedicated to top Private Shopping clients, these include highly targeted campaigns and ad-hoc initiatives; from organising a bouquet of flowers to putting together various elements for an exclusive experience.
- Maintain all activity and budget spread sheets, and help the executive to plan actions based on the customer and marketing calendars.
- Support cultural campaigns and remaining knowledgeable about key trends and up to date with the latest openings in the world of hospitality, culture, fine dining and fashion.
- Working closely with the Client Engagement Executive in understanding the client portfolio, their needs and desires to ensure all touch points are relevant and personalised.
- Be culturally aware of the different nationalities across our portfolio and understand what is relevant and appropriate for each client.
- Work collaboratively with our Client Development and Brand Engagement team.
About you
If you have a deep understanding of luxury, as well as enjoy keeping up to date on clientelling trends and activations across different luxury stores, then this may be the role for you. We are looking for a charismatic individual with a creative mindset, a clear passion for Harrods and our Private Shopping department, and someone who is able to work seamlessly with our different teams.
We are also looking for someone who possesses the below:
- Strong understanding of the UHNW client and their lifestyle and needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability and willingness to multi-task to short deadlines.
- Good PC literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A good team player, ready to help others as required.
- Customer service experience to communicate effectively with clients both face-to-face, and via email and telephone.
