We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to help drive that growth at key strategic accounts. In this highly visible role, you will build executive relationships, develop alliance agreements, and expand opportunities across the full GE Vernova Electrification portfolio. You will serve as a trusted partner to customers while bringing a unified “One GE Vernova” approach to every engagement.

As the ELEC Strategic Account Manager, you will:
Own the Customer Relationship from the C-suite down and ensure executive sponsorship is valued and provided by both organizations.
Own, drive the co-creation of, and maintain a holistic 3+ year account strategy and plan that aligns the GEV’s business strategies, priorities, and products/services with the customer’s long term strategic plan, objectives, needs, and culture.
Represent the entire ELEC and GEV portfolio, and support collaboration across ELEC and GEV Business Lines (BLs) for opportunities which require complex or multi-BL solutions.
Coordinate with ELEC BL Sales, Services, Execution and functional teams, as well as other GEV Business Units (BUs) and GEV Key Account Executives as appropriate.
Act as a central point of contact that facilitates and advocates for both GEV and the customer. Develop and drive the account relationship mapping process, pairing relationships from GEV CEO, ELEC CEO, NAM BD, and ELEC BL Leaders, etc with counterparts from the customer’s organization. Arrange regular business reviews and generate opportunities for ongoing engagements.
Collaborate with Strategic Account Executive counterpart from EDGE to increase penetration and strategy development across GEV. Co-sell with sales counterparts from Gas and Wind Power to improve ELEC “attach” rates to new generation projects. Engage and ensure ELEC inclusion in new generation “Reservation Agreements”.
Understand the nature of competitors’ offerings and develop ELEC counterstrategies to increase share of wallet and win rates.
Leverage standard work, operational data, and metrics to monitor the health of the customer relationship and satisfaction (NPS), the alignment with our priorities, and overall growth and profitability of the account.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Eng. or related discipline from an accredited university or college
Minimum 8 years of additional experience in direct sales/commercial, marketing, account management or another EPC or end user customer or supplier facing role.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy, T&D, power generation, and/or renewables industry
Proximity to the Customer Center of Competence or willingness to relocate.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, as required.

Demonstrated success developing and maintaining GE cross business relationships at multiple levels.
Demonstrated ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer relationships at C-suite level
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy industry
Experience as the lead account manager/ leading an account team with identified key customers who have broad product portfolios.
Demonstrated strength in interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skills; especially with all business levels including senior leadership.
Strong preference for candidate to be near a major airport in (less than 1 hour)
Strong financial management skills with knowledge of utility economics and competitive landscape
Experience navigating GEV Businesses in order to better combine GEV Vision with Customer Strategy to communicate the key interactions that can drive success for both organizations.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $151,400.00 and $252,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
