Job Description:

Role Purpose:

  • ​Within the BST, this role is accountable for the HR function within the cluster, including assisting the management team of the cluster in recruitment and onboarding of new talent, managing engagement & development and time & attendance (incl. absence tracking)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day- to-day HR operations including:

    • Keep employee data up to date in Workday

      o

    • Registration and questions on Time and Attendance system (system managed in service cluster)

  • Track and follow-up employee trainings, examinations and certifications. Follow-up on mandatory trainings and ensure managers are following up on the development drawn during performance review.

  • Execute on diversity & inclusion targets (which are set at global level): monitor gender and culture representation in the workforce. Put in place formal programs related to inclusion and diversity (e.g. employee interest groups). and diversity. Manage communication around including and diversity

  • Onboard new hires, ensure right information and trainings are provided to new workers (incl. code of sustainable conduct, online H&S and functional training, introduction meetings with colleagues

    • Register employee information in Workday and trigger IT for non-managerial positions. Register with insurances.

  • Support managing contingency workers including the contracts with interim agencies

    • Conduct exit interview based on existing questionnaire and organise practical offboarding (e.g. right documentation) by following the formal offboarding procedure.

  • Assist in gathering skill requirements according to corporate strategy and market environment. Coordinate with Cluster Performance team (CPT) to understand workforce needs, including contingent workers.

  • Assist in periodically identifying critical roles & conduct succession planning. Understand future needs (under strict cluster budget) and escalate process.

  • Assist in supporting managers in assessment of employee potential (talent review) and ensure managers follow standardized process. Support development and execution of action plans to address gaps to improve performance

  • Support team leaders for the yearly employee performance review, ensure right procedures are followed. Line managers remain responsible for execution of the process including objective setting, evaluation and feedback.

  • Communicate the yearly review and ensure employees in the cluster understand the review process.

  • Single point of contact of questions about managing employee performance.

    • Ensure yearly review plan for employees is consistent with global HR guidelines.

  • Support execution of the performance improvement plan, e.g. follow-up on the evaluation and documentation.

About you:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, HR or Law, master degree preferred or equivalent by experience

  • Prior experience as an HR generalist or HR manager. Experience in blue collar organisation

  • English– verbal & writing knowledges

  • French
