German Localisation Specialist

Zazzle is looking for a Native German Localisation Specialist to join our International team. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will work with colleagues worldwide and across the company, including SEO, SEM, Merchandising, Email, Customer Support, and other Localisation specialists. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days a week in the Cork office required.

As part of the Shopping team, you are key to the successful localisation of the customer experience for our German domain. You will localise everything from product descriptions to emails to landing pages using competitor research and data analysis. You will have excellent attention to detail, organisational, communication, and analytical skills. Most importantly, you will show a passion for continually optimising and growing the German Zazzle domain.

As a German Localisation Specialist, you will:

• Localise all copy, including product descriptions, new features etc with translations, measurements, cultural references etc, using a range of internal tools.
• Partner with the Merchandising team to localise and optimise onsite landing pages and experiences. Track the impact of changes on conversion and bounce rates.
• Work with the SEO team to optimise landing pages for organic traffic, including keyword and competitor research and the creation of SEO copy. Track the impact of changes on rankings, impressions & clicks.
• Work with the SEM team to optimise Google Ads campaigns to capture available demand and traffic in local markets, whilst maintaining efficiency and net contribution.
• Schedule all discounts and promotions for designated domains and monitor impact on conversion rates, bookings and gross contribution.
• Localise and QA all campaign and trigger emails with translations or new marketing copy, PID recommendations etc.
• Conduct competitor research and come up with smart, customer-converting ideas to test on your domain.
• Closely monitor and analyse bookings, gross & net contribution, traffic, conversion rates etc.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Native German with excellent copywriting skills to write engaging content.
• Ability to learn and use lots of new tools, organised and with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail in both translation and all tasks.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to review data and recommend actions.
• A creative eye for good design and trends.
• Flexible team player who easily adapts to a changing environment
• and enjoys collaborating with teammates.
• Knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics and other marketing tools is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
