Now we’re on the hunt for a German Game Linguist to bring creativity, precision, and passion to in-game content for a leading international publisher.
This is a full-time, permanent role, fully onsite in our vibrant Barcelona studio — Carrer de la Diputació, 280, 08009 - a city as dynamic and exciting as the games you’ll help bring to life. If you’re joining us from abroad, we’ll support your move with a relocation bonus.
What you’ll do- Translate, review, and polish in-game and non-in-game content from English into German, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Own the linguistic quality of your work, ensuring every line sounds natural, engaging, and true to the game’s world.
- Collaborate closely with fellow linguists to deliver consistent and player-friendly translations.
Requirements
- Native-level German speaker (a must!)
- A genuine passion for video games and storytelling.
- Background in linguistics, translation, or copywriting — or equivalent experience.
- Excellent German writing style with strong English skills.
- A self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- A collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal skills.
