Resumen

The primary function is to oversee Ocean transportation logistics and MLM functions across the integrated supply chain of the beer division. Must develop, design and optimize Ocean routing from the Veracruz brewery to the US Distribution Network, supervise internal operations (Yard Management) of a container yard, work with engineer and brewery to develop the right infrastructure and set up proper resources, work with foreign trade custom brokers, IDS / DBA teams, logistics suppliers / carriers, port authorities and port operators on shipment coordination and adequate throughput to meet loading plan, logistics and transportation objectives. In addition, development of methods, processes, and standards across the Beer Division, to keep control of raw material flow into CBI breweries and related processes, securing raw materials are delivered on time to support production, overseeing routing / lead times to keep optimum levels of inventory across the full pipeline, providing tactical and strategic thought to leadership into the broader Operations, Network Design, Carrier Development and Procurement. The position ensures planning and operational oversight of critical Ocean and MLM functions, providing directional leadership across both internal and external stakeholders to deliver against corporate goals.

Responsabilidades

1 • Lead Strategic Vision for Ocean Transportation, develop, design and optimize logistics requirements for Ocean transportation across the beer division.

2 • Develop logistics processes and procedures for Ocean transportation; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs.

3 • Work cross functionally with procurement, brewery, replenishment, engineer, to develop proper infrastructure (Rail and Ocean), capacities and throughput to support loading plan of Veracruz brewery.

4 • Lead and coordinate stakeholders for a successful launch of Veracruz brewery, Network design, Carrier development and Project Management activities included.

5 • Manage day to day Ocean operation / process (Vessel planning, Cut off management, booking requests, shipping instructions, BL review, flow management, cost, etc). • Demurrage and accessorial management. • Support invoice/payable for all suppliers.

6 • Manage exceptions / risks such as: deviations in flow (port processing / port access / reach stacker throughput, etc), incidents / thefts during transit, changes in production / capacity that may impact the transportation cycles, etc. • Customs - Manages and monitors Mexican and US customs clearance and inspection processes in Ocean Transportation.

7 • Work closely with stakeholders (brewery, engineer, foreign trade, custom brokers, IDS / DBA, logistics suppliers / carriers, port authorities and port operators) on shipment coordination and adequate throughput to meet loading plan.

8 • Participate on planning, execution, and tracking of Logistics Financial performance. Delivers process improvements related to logistics inefficiencies, (Cost management). • Identify and drive cost savings initiatives that drive productivity improvements, reduce working capital exposure, and promote continuous improvement

9 • Manage and develop logistics KPI’s, performance reports including but not limited to Ocean transportation, Container management, Yard Management, Port Processing. Assists in the development of continuous improvement and high-quality service to internal and external customers. Develop carrier scorecards

10 • Project management experience, leading intercultural and stakeholder from different areas to reach milestones on time, using matrix influencing to accomplish objectives and goals in the logistics and supply chain organization.

11 • Manage and influence MLM activities, design coordinate and optimize routing for the delivery of raw materials to the breweries, window planning and delivery schedule to optimize resources and keep the right balance of inventory (working capital) in the pipeline. • Influence end-to-end supply chain on optimal performance of inventory flows.

12 • Determine optimum levels of inventory and infrastructure / footprint required to support production, including Inbound operation across CBI breweries (not limited to Ocean / Veracruz brewery).

13 • Work cross functionally to determine optimum levels of inventory to mitigate logistics expenses and ship raw materials in accordance to production schedule, monitor inventory flow through the pipeline (Silo, unloading, OH, In transit pipeline).

14 • Continually re-engineer and adapt logistic strategies to enhance and accelerate performance in value chain. Human Resources – Beer Operations 3 15 • Contributes to and supports the logistics commercial processes, including commodity strategies, network design & optimization, performance measurement, and sourcing events

16 • Develops and implements supplier performance management systems. This includes the development of performance metrics, scorecard development, QB/AB reviews and CAR (Corrective Action and Recovery) plans.
