About the team:
Edenred Global Technology organization is managing all IS/IT systems worldwide. Within Global Technology, our Infra and IT operations team manages all infrastructure services (workplace, service desk, hosting, clouds, network and telecom, security, unified communications, O365, directories, ….). We manage the complete lifecycle of infrastructure including production, incident, change, projects, transformation and strategy and deliver state of the art services to Edenred end users.
As Head of Hosting for Brazil, you are responsible to deliver quality hosting services in the geographical zone for all business lines (Employee Benefits, Mobility, Payment).
Position Goals:
- Management of Brazil Hosting services composed of Public (Azure and AWS) and Private cloud (7 Datacenters).
- Support of critical business applications in relation with main Brazil Business Units & external providers.
- As a manager, leading a team of 19 people (5 direct positions, 18 indirect positions).
- Contribution to main transformation projects (cloud migration, DC Consolidation) & Run (operational excellence, vulnerabilities management in relation with Security teams, remediation, etc.)
- Direct reporting to the Regional Infrastructure Director (based in Mexico) as part of a regional organization (hosting, network, workplace, transversal services)
- Direct collaboration with worldwide CoEs (Hosting, Network, Workplace) based in Europe & ITSM team.
Main Responsibilities/tasks:
Management:
- Lead the Brazil Hosting Team,
- In collaboration with ITSM team, act as a local point of escalation for Service Management during a crisis or critical incident and a point of escalation for any Hosting topic in the Country.
- Provide support and guidance for the service management team on the Incident Problem and Change Management process.
- Work closely together with relevant Business Unit/Business Line leaders and their IT leaders who act both as clients and dotted line managers for the organization.
- Act as linking pin/translator: explain global priorities going down to Business Units and – at the same time – pass & defend Brazil Business Unit requirements to the Americas Infra Centers of Expertise.
- Support the Weekly and Monthly Service Management Governance.
- Cooperate closely with all other Infrastructure teams (Workplace/Cloud/Network CoEs, other AREA managers, Operation Managers, PMO Office, Strategy) and other teams (Architecture, Front/Middle/Back Office applications, Security, PMO and Finance).
Operation:
- Deliver best in class Hosting services (Private and Public Cloud) to all Business Units in line with global strategy, Business Units priorities, expectations and budget & Run of Brazil Infrastructure (operational Excellence ensuring stability, Vulnerabilities remediation in collaboration with Security teams, etc.)
- Develop and publish regular dashboards and KPI’s to all stakeholders (Business Units, IS, corporate functions).
- Monthly dashboards will include service availability, project status budget follow up and process/quality measures and asset’s inventory.
- Monitoring, Service Management in America and Globally.
- Work with BUs/BLs to optimize infrastructure services consumption and costs.
- Contribute to global Infrastructure and IT Operations Services worldwide.
- Continuously propose service improvement and new functionalities.
Portfolio and project:
- Budget:
- Define and manage Hosting budget for Brazil Infrastructure (P&L / chargeback).
- Explain/improve the value delivered for all Brazil based BUs.
- Provide input and contribute to the BU and BL 3YP.
- Project portfolio:
- Understand zone Business Units/Business Lines strategy, priorities, challenges.
- Accompany and facilitate BUs/BLs cloud adoption strategy.
- Represent Americas Hosting in Brazil zone and ensure the rollout of the Group Infrastructure strategy.
- Contribute to Infrastructure Americas Centers of Expertise (COE) projects deployment in the country with a specific focus on legacy and security transformation projects.
- Develop a risk culture approach (operational, financial, security), propose mitigation plan to reduce risk (legacy management in particular).
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT related areas
- 10 years minimum of professional experience in Infrastructure management including operational roles in international and multicultural environments.
- Good technical skills in Cloud (public).
- Technical Knowledge in Datacenter Management and Network
- Transversal and vertical Team management.
- Financial and project management skills.
- Great intellectual agility and ability to deal with multiple topics in parallel.
- Rigor in organization, formalization, planning and solution oriented.
- Strong appetite in service delivery and End User experience.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship ability.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (other languages appreciated: French, Spanish).
