SC&A is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with strong knowledge of the the design, construction, and operation of landfills and surface impoundments and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Candidates should have a geotechnical, civil or environmental engineering BS or MS. Candidates must be US Citizens, live in the United States, and have at least 10 years of experience. The proposed candidate should have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage, coordinate, and communicate progress and any problems on the financial aspects of the work.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in site visits, data collection, and investigations regarding environmental topics.
- Review technical/program documents and applications.
- Perform environmental calculations based on provided methodologies.
- Communicate with regulators on compliance issues
- Interact with clients
