Position Overview

Due to continued growth across Ireland and Europe, we are seeking an experienced Geospatial Engineer to join our Geospatial Engineering Department.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a major solar farm development project, supporting the delivery of critical renewable energy infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying and geospatial engineering services, collaborating closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders across Europe.

As this role involves regular interaction with Spanish-speaking clients and project teams, fluency in Spanish and conversational level English

What You Will Do

  • Carry out staking and setting-out activities across large-scale construction and infrastructure projects, including solar energy developments.
  • Prepare, process, and analyse survey and set-out data.
  • Utilise modern survey equipment, including Total Stations, GNSS/GPS systems, and data collectors.
  • Perform detailed field and office-based surveying activities.
  • Produce and manage survey deliverables using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, StarNet, and 12d Model.
  • Support project teams throughout the lifecycle of renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders in both English and Spanish.
  • Ensure all work is delivered safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring exceptional project delivery.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the business.

What You Will Bring

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering, or a related discipline, and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience working within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or renewable energy projects.
  • Fluent Spanish and English communication skills (written and spoken) — essential.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing and interpreting survey and construction data.
  • Strong understanding of CAD technologies and geospatial workflows.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of project scopes, specifications, and client requirements.
  • Full Irish or EU driving licence.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout Ireland and Europe as required.
  • Existing right to work in Ireland.
