We are currently looking to hire a Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst to join our team embedded with our client in Culver City! This position requires working onsite at our client's Headquarters in Culver City, CA.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst will produce time-sensitive assessments of security developments at the state/local, country, and international level for corporate security customers. The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest in global security topics and the media and entertainment industry, have experience with open-source research and analysis, be able to identify trends in complex threat issues, and communicate assessments effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete projects as assigned, including drafting, editing, and revising threat assessments
- Monitor for new trends and changes to security environments, and proactively alert appropriate security stakeholders
- Conduct open-source strategic geopolitical and tactical investigative research, as well as social media monitoring; provide written assessments and oral briefings on related findings that are tailored to customer needs
- Create maps, graphs, or other visuals to support written analytic products
- Provide 24/7 support and assist with crisis management, as needed
- Travel to support global events, as needed
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (business, international relations, or security-related)
- Experience with open-source research and analytic report writing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize and assess information
- Experience working with highly confidential information
- Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with social media research and monitoring
- This position requires up to 10% travel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience working in an analytical field, including experience with geopolitics, economics, and international business
- Proficient in multiple languages
- Experience working in the Media & Entertainment Industry a plus

$70,000—$75,000 USD
