Geophysicist

Job Description

In this role, you'll closely collaborate with fellow geophysics department members and work across teams with colleagues from areas like Consulting, Geo-consulting, Geotechnical, and more, all within the region. We're looking for candidates who can work well independently, and self-motivation is key to succeeding in this position.
Job Description

• Performing complex geophysical work around the process of acquiring, collating, processing, interpreting and reporting of complete and high-quality geophysical data in order to provide accurate and customized data deliverables to clients,
• Providing geophysical advice in multiple specialized technical disciplines,
• Developing solutions to clients by putting acquired geophysical data into context,
• Proposing improvements of research methods and quality systems
• Providing technical input for tenders,
• Requires skills and knowledge in wireline and surface geophysics disciplines.
• Assisting with the establishment and compilation of project procedures,
• Making recommendations, including any supplementary investigations,
• Contributing to acquisition activities if necessary
• People management is a requirement.
   

Qualification / Skills / Experience Required

• Minimum B.Sc. or M.Sc. Level in Geophysicist.
• Minimum of 5 Years’ experience;
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Arabic speaker candidates will be preferred.
• Strong personality, goal-minded and proactive approach to teamwork, development of relationships, and a tenacity to seek out all possible opportunities.
• Demonstrable ability to both exceeds targets and work to tight deadlines efficiently.
• Ability to work independently to develop the business delivery role, increasing the customer base and ultimately assisting the department to grow along with the company goals.
• Competent ICT user including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
• Min. 3-5 years project management skills.
