GEO & AI Search Specialist

That’s why we’re looking for a GEO & AI Search Specialist - someone who will build and own Vilgain’s Generative Engine Optimization strategy across all our markets.

Your mission will be to make sure that when people ask tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini or Google AI Overviews about sports nutrition, supplements, functional food or healthy eating, Vilgain becomes one of the brands they see, trust and choose.

• Build and own the GEO / AEO / LLMO strategy across Vilgain markets, with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

• Set up tracking of citation rate, brand mention rate, response inclusion and share of voice across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.

• Develop and maintain Vilgain’s entity graph through Schema.org markup, internal linking, canonicalization, llms.txt, AI-bot robots.txt and other technical signals.

• Work with the Content team to create AI-citable formats such as comparison guides, ingredient deep-dives, FAQs, HowTo content, expert reviews and educational product content.

• Monitor competitor visibility in AI-generated answers and identify content, authority and positioning gaps.

• Partner with the SEO team to protect and grow traditional organic visibility in a zero-click search environment, including featured snippets, knowledge panels and People Also Ask.

• Adapt the GEO playbook for local markets together with Country Managers and native content writers across CEE and DACH.

• Run regular prompt-testing and QA cycles to understand how AI engines answer category-relevant questions and how Vilgain is represented.

• Coordinate technical implementation with Engineering, including markup deployment, page templates and structured data validation.

• Stay ahead of AI search and LLM developments and turn them into practical actions for Vilgain.

Someone with 4+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing or digital growth, including at least 12 months of hands-on experience in GEO, AEO or AI Search Optimization.

Proven experience improving AI search visibility, citation rate, share of voice in LLM answers or AI Overview presence.

Strong understanding of Schema.org , structured data, and technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexing, canonicalization, and hreflang.

Hands-on experience with GEO / AI search tracking tools.

A data-driven mindset and confidence working with GA4 and Google Search Console.

SQL or Python for analytics, automation or workflow improvement is a strong plus.

English at C1+ level for daily collaboration across international markets.

E-commerce experience in FMCG, sports nutrition, supplements, functional food or similar categories is a plus.
