Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Drive the growth of the Genetic Sciences Division , including Capillary Electrophoresis Sequencing, Quantitative Real Time PCR, Digital PCR, and Micro Array technologies, in the Southern Africa region. Manage a portfolio that includes instruments, services, and associated consumables, ensuring a flawless reflection of Thermo Fisher Scientifics' image.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets with a consistent record of sales success.
- Provide the company with timely and relevant market information to determine strategies for product development.
- Develop and efficiently implement business strategies to achieve daring revenue targets.
- Build and implement detailed account plans and programs to support both short and long-term sales and revenue objectives.
- Impact the sales of products, both currently and in the future, by contending effectively in the market.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the life sciences industry, particularly in genetic sciences.
- Consistent track record to achieve sales targets and drive growth in a driven market.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to provide market insights and develop strategies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
