Under general direction of the Director, Global Generics and Sourcing, this position is directly responsible for determining and maintaining all formulary customer access to generic pharmaceutical and the administration of the Cencora Global Procurement (CGP) Master Service Agreement between CGP and Manufacturers. In addition, this position is responsible for manufacturer and sales questions and inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages New Generic Product Launches with generating forecasts and working directly with the Generic Category Managers to communicate effectively across all business units.
  • Collaborates with, and notifies, Cencora Global Procurement, SGS, Sales, Customer Care,   Replenishment Operations, Customer Operations, and Contracts and Chargebacks of product launches and changes in CGP or customer access to generic products through management of manufacturer contracts and communication with manufacturers directly.
  • Represents the access needs of the customer to the manufacturer for inquiries and requests and maintains all approval lists and updates.
  • Assisting Category Managers in determining appropriate customer groups that will have access to products based on manufacturer strategy and resolving all inquiries and issues after implementation.
  • Collaborates with Generic Injectable team to help support strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Works with Category Manager to develop and maintain manufacturer relationships to further align with CGP strategic goals and contract strategy.
  • Support the Category Management in their daily duties as it pertains to upholding the terms of the CGP Master Service Agreements, running reports, and updating weekly trackers.
  • Tracks and updates all active manufacturer, contract, and product information according to department and Company processes.
  • Organizes projects and maintains planning to ensure issues and milestones are met and acts as backup resource to lead manufacturer RFP and RFI responses for Strategic Global Sourcing Creates and maintains all departmental SOPs and documentation.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelors degree (rising junior or senior)
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of Cencora
  • Thorough knowledge of Cencora policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
