Role Overview

The Generative AI Specialist will research, design, and implement generative AI models (e.g., text, image, audio, or multimodal) to enhance AppVertices products and client solutions. This role requires expertise in deep learning, creativity in AI applications, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and fine-tune generative AI models for real-world applications.
• Build and optimize AI pipelines for training, inference, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate generative AI into software solutions.
• Stay up-to-date on AI research and industry trends to inform innovation.
• Ensure AI systems meet ethical, responsible AI, and data security standards.
• Document processes, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong background in NLP, diffusion models, transformers, or multimodal AI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
• Strong programming skills in Python; knowledge of APIs and deployment pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and fine-tuning techniques.
• Publications, open-source contributions, or research in generative AI.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.
