Your Next Career Opportunity – Generative AI & Workflow Automation Developer

The primary function of this position is to integrate advanced automation and AI-driven insights into our Domestic Operations organization. This position is also responsible for combining advanced technical skills with a strong understanding of operational workflows, while leveraging tools like Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and enterprise platforms to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across the business.

We’re seeking a forward-thinking Generative AI & Workflow Automation Developer to bring advanced automation and AI-driven insights to our Domestic Operations organization. This role bridges deep technical capability with a strong understanding of operational workflows, leveraging tools like Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and enterprise platforms to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across the business.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing AI-enabled automation in real-world business settings, translating technical capabilities into meaningful operational outcomes.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify automation opportunities across tower operations, field services, new asset development, and strategic sales; design and implement intelligent solutions.
  • Build and maintain automation processes using Power Automate, SharePoint, and UiPath or similar tools.
  • Leverage tools like, Microsoft Copilot and other GenAI (Generative Artificial Intelligence) tools, to create repeatable workflows that increase efficiency in reporting, ticketing, and communication.
  • Partner with Operations leaders to evaluate high-effort, low-value tasks that can be automated or streamlined using AI.
  • Design, deploy, and manage AI agents to automate complex workflows and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration of AI and automation tools with existing enterprise systems and platforms.
  • Plan for scalability to accommodate growing data volumes and increased complexity of automation tasks.
  • Work cross-functionally with other team members and groups within the organization to understand their needs and identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining AI & automation processes as well as creating efficiencies.
  • Create and deploy AI-driven prototypes, such as self-service tools, dashboards, or ticket classifiers, with a focus on operational usability.
  • Create training materials and support internal teams in learning to use AI tools effectively.
  • Promote AI literacy across the business through workshops, demos, and documentation.
  • Work with IT and business analysts to ensure data quality, integration, and scalability of automation solutions.
  • Stay abreast with emerging AI technologies and recommend new tools or frameworks aligned with operational needs.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in automation, AI tool development, or operations technology support
    • Strong working knowledge of tools such as:
    • Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
    • Microsoft Copilot and/or generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, custom GPTs)
    • Workflow automation and RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere)
  • Proven experience building and scaling operational solutions, not just prototypes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and business teams

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working in or supporting Telecom, Infrastructure, or Field Operations teams
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Ivanti) and how AI/automation can improve ticketing or service delivery
  • Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, AI-900 (Azure AI Fundamentals), or RPA technologies
  • Understanding of AI ethics, governance, and responsible automation
