JOB PROFILE: Administer and coordinate Human Resources programs and processes in accordance with Magna's Culture, corporate policies, and applicable legal requirements.
Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, payroll administration, performance management, employee engagement, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance, promote organizational culture, and partners with employees and management to support business objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Human Resources Policies, Compliance & Governance
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices while helping ensure compliance with labor, social security, compensation, payroll, and other applicable legal and corporate requirements.
* Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and selection activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, Medical Exam, Psychometric Assessment, Employment Reference Checks, offer preparation, hiring documentation, onboarding activities, and orientation programs
* Employee Lifecycle, Benefits & HR Administration
Coordinate employee onboarding, employment documentation, HR system transactions, personnel records, employee data maintenance, separation processes, and offboarding activities. Support the administration of employee benefit programs, including Major Medical Insurance, Minor Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Savings Fund, Vehicle Leasing, Auto Insurance, Vacation and Vacation Premium, Grocery Vouchers, Don Walker Scholarship Program, Disaster Relief Fund, and other company-sponsored programs.
* Payroll Administration & HR Operations Support
Support payroll administration activities by preparing, validating, and coordinating employee data changes, payroll inputs, reports, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely processing. Maintain employee records, HR reports, vacation balances, and related administrative documentation, including Vacation Premium payments, Quarterly Vacation Balance reporting, and Year-End payment activities. Coordinate activities and documentation related to statutory processes, including Profit Sharing (PTU), Year-End Bonus (Aguinaldo), IMSS registrations, and other applicable legal obligations.
* Compensation, Benefits & Total Rewards Administration
Support the administration of employee benefits and annual compensation processes by coordinating activities, completing required templates and surveys, gathering and validating employee and job data, participating in job-matching exercises, preparing supporting documentation, coordinating approval workflows, and assisting with the communication of approved compensation programs to employees.
*Performance Management & Talent Development Support
Support and coordinate the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual evaluations, job description administration and communications. Assist with development plans as required and establish training plans.
*Employee Engagement, Communications & Organizational Culture
Coordinate employee communication and engagement initiatives aligned with the Magna Culture, including Communication Meetings, employee communications, digital communication platforms, organizational announcements, and Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) activities. Support survey administration, focus groups, action planning initiatives, follow-up activities, and programs that promote employee engagement, recognition, and organizational culture.
*HR Planning, Employee Recognition & Administrative Coordination
Prepare and maintain Human Resources calendars, annual activity plans, reports, and administrative schedules, including Communication Meeting topics, Service Awards programs, holiday planning, vacation-related activities, and other recurring HR initiatives. Coordinate employee recognition programs, workplace events, vendor interactions, facilities-related services, and administrative activities that support effective HR operations.
*Health, Safety, Environmental and Ergonomics & Employee Well-Being
Support Health, Safety, Environmental, Ergonomics, NOM-035, emergency preparedness, and employee well-being programs through coordination of activities, employee communications, participation tracking, and administrative support. Ensure timely compliance with the calculation of the Occupational Risk Premium. Encourage and educate the use of the Employee Assistance Program.
*Audits, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Monitor internal and external audits, compliance reviews, HR assessments, reporting activities, annual surveys, corrective action follow-up, and continuous improvement initiatives related to Human Resources processes
PERFORMANCE MEASURES :
1.Timely completion of compliance requirements, statutory obligations, Occupational Risk Premium activities, corrective actions, and satisfactory internal and external audit results.
2.Timely completion of recruitment, onboarding, employee transactions, personnel documentation, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle activities with minimal errors.
3.Accuracy and timely completion of payroll inputs, compensation activities, benefits administration, HR data reporting, and statutory processes
4.Completion rate of performance management activities, Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) participation and completion of action plan, communication initiatives, and employee engagement programs.
5.Timely execution of annual HR plans, recognition programs, workplace events, administrative activities, and recurring HR initiatives
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE:
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field.
* 8 - 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist role.
*Experience in recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, payroll administration, compliance, and employee engagement programs.
*Knowledge of Mexican Labor Law, Social Security regulations, compensation practices, and HR administration processes.
*HRIS platforms and Human Resources systems (e.g., Workday), including employee data maintenance, transactions, reporting, and workflow processes.
*Knowledgeable in Microsoft programs. Excell, Power Point and Word
*Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.

Skills Required
