Role and Responsibilities

Your Journey

As a Samsung Trainee in the General Track, you’ll rotate through different departments—Mobile, Audio & Video, Home Appliances, Display—based on your profile and interest. You’ll be part of strategic projects, receive structured training, and develop your skills in a wide variety of roles.

You’ll begin with an immersive onboarding program and then dive into real responsibilities from the start. Throughout the three years, you’ll grow both professionally and personally—with the support of a mentor and an internal training curriculum.

Within our General Traineeship we currently have opportunities in:
 

Trainee Marcom, Audio Visual Division
Support the marketing team in developing and executing campaigns for Samsung's TV and Audio portfolio. You'll contribute to product launches, brand activations and marketing campaigns that strengthen Samsung's market position.
 

Trainee Business Planning Retail, Consumer Electronics Division
Support the Business Planning team by transforming retail and market data into valuable commercial insights. You'll work with reporting, forecasting and business analysis to help optimize performance across the Consumer Electronics business.
 

Trainee Strategy, Insights & Campaign, Corporate Marketing

Support the development of Samsung's brand and campaign strategy by translating market insights into impactful campaigns. You'll analyze market trends, contribute to campaign development, support strategic projects and help monitor campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.

Trainee Channel Marketing, Consumer Electronics Division
Support the Channel Marketing team in developing and executing retail campaigns and go-to-market activations. You'll work closely with retailers, sales and marketing to maximize product visibility and commercial performance.
 

Trainee Supply Chain Management, Consumer Electronics Division
Gain hands-on experience in demand planning, forecasting and supply chain operations. You'll help ensure Samsung products are available at the right place, at the right time and in the right quantities.
 

Trainee CRM & Loyalty, Corporate Marketing
Support the development and execution of CRM and loyalty campaigns that strengthen customer engagement. You'll help create personalized customer journeys, analyze campaign performance and contribute to Samsung's loyalty strategy.
 

Trainee Customer Experience Specialist, Customer Service
Analyze customer feedback and Net Promoter Score (NPS) data to identify opportunities for improving the customer experience. You'll collaborate with multiple teams to turn customer insights into meaningful improvements.
 

Trainee Junior Digital Marketing Specialist, E-store Division
Support the Digital Marketing team in maintaining and optimizing Samsung.com. You'll help improve online content, perform quality checks and contribute to delivering an outstanding digital customer experience.

What are your assets

As our General Trainee you have strong communication skills and know how to convince others with your dedication, assertiveness and openness. With your enthusiasm, you actively involve others in projects and tasks. Thereby, you enjoy working with colleagues and having meetings with external stakeholders. You’re eager to build a network that you will keep up to date.  You’re actively focused on your personal development. You’re aware of your own talents, pitfalls and challenges. You’re eager to grow as professional and as a person. Overall, you are willing to be part of an international organization that is continuously evolving. 

We also request:

• Knowledge and experience – you have a master degree in economics or social sciences (e.g., Data Analytics, Business Information Management, Marketing Management, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Commercial Science, Communication Management, …). Graduates with another degree, but with the right experience and mindset also qualify!
• Critical and analytical skills – you can execute with excellence on the most important things. You’re able to identify new opportunities and overcome barriers.
• Language – you’re a good communicator in Dutch and English. This enables you to easily collaborate with colleagues, partners and stakeholders
