We are looking for Entry Level Machine Operators to join our team! At West Bend, we specialize in cream cheese – that meet our customers’ needs and appeal to consumer tastes worldwide. Responsibilities will be to manufacture, maintain, and process bulk dairy ingredients utilizing filling machines in accordance with Food Safety guidelines. Cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining equipment to company standards, forming boxes and packaging final product, operate pallet jacks and other general labor duties as assigned.
Rate of Pay:- Up to $24.93 per hour ($23.43 plus $1.50 per hour certification pay) based on experience. Earning potential exceeds $80,000 annually. 
- Shift premium of $0.50 per hour for working on second shift and $1.00 per hour for third shift. 
- $2,000 sign on bonus, paid in the first year, based on good employment standing for 3rd shift full time positions. 
- 1st Shift (6:00 am to 2:00 pm)
- 2nd Shift (2:00 pm to 10:00 pm)
- 3rd Shift (10:00 pm to 6:00 am)
Work week offers a guaranteed 40 hours.
Mandatory overtime is expected and weekend work is likely. Overtime is paid on 8+ hours in a day, time and half paid on Saturday and double time paid on Sundays.

- Perform varied tasks in the packing of cream cheese to include: operating a 30 lb. or 50 lb. filler, making, weighing and sealing boxes, maintaining quality, packing various product into larger cartons, feeding or packing tubs or cups, lift truck pallets to cooler. 
- Perform various clean-up functions of equipment used for packaging, processing, and sanitation as needed 
- Train partners to fulfill similar roles 
- Take physical inventory 
- Must be able to work safely and in a team environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on regular basis 
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by leader 
- Reliability - Regular attendance is a requirement 
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely with minimal supervision 
- Self-motivated, detail orientated individual who possesses a results-oriented mindset 
- One who works well in a team environment and has a proactive "can-do" mentality 
- Basic math skills and reading comprehension 
- No degree required
