The hours of work and shift patterns are:
4 days working week
Rotational shift. Start time: 04:55 am till 3:10 pm
- Wk1 Monday-Thursday
- Wk2 Wednesday - Saturday
- Wk3 Monday, Tuesday, Friday Saturday
The rates of pay are: £13.26
General operative duties on the line as required
- Maintain Health and Safety standards in accordance with Company Policy and all relevant legislative documentation – actively encouraging health and safety awareness with other operatives maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to in full – actively encouraging the ‘clean as you go’ philosophy.
- Ensure work practices minimise the risk of product contamination.
- Safe use of knives, maintaining health and safety standards
- Must be able to contribute towards achieving the product targets set for the day by working at a consistent work rate
- Must be aware of the surrounding environment and the potential hazards that could cause harm to themselves or their peers
- Ensure that all areas of training in basic food hygiene, health and safety and product quality are adhered to
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours
- Ability to use a knife or willing to learn – full training will be provided
- To work as part of a team and effectively communicate with all colleagues and Management staff
